Life Groups

Life is not meant to be lived alone. God designed us to live in community with him and with one another. During the span of Jesus’ ministry on earth, he frequently spoke to mass crowds and he daily encountered many people – but, through it all, he had a group of 12 with whom he walked the journey. Whether you are new to the concept of life (small) groups or have been a part of them in the past, we strongly encourage you to be a part of one.

Why join a life group? For starters, it will provide you with a group of people in a similar stage of life with whom with you can establish deep friendships and community as you walk your journeys together. It will allow you an environment to grow in your knowledge and understanding of the Bible. There are many reasons for you to join a life group. The question you need to ask yourself is: what reasons do I have not to join a life group?

Series-Based Life Group Curriculum

Not knowing what to study or how to prepare for a life group often times can be the reason that life groups don’t work out or that people don’t want to be a part of one. Because we believe so strongly in the value of people being a part of a life group, we started to create curriculum/materials based on the current message series. This nearly eliminates the prep work that can sometimes go into life groups, and it serves as an opportunity for people to go deeper by engaging in discussions about topics heard on Sunday mornings. Materials can be accessed online, on our app, or can be picked up after the services on Sunday.

Below is the Life Group search tool with a list of all of the existing Rockpoint life Groups. Browse all of the different life groups and when you find the one that fits you best, click the “Email the Leader” button to contact the Life Group Leader with any questions you have about the group and they will get back to you shortly.
