“Decide in your heart how much to give. And don’t give reluctantly or in response to pressure. For God loves a person who gives cheerfully. And God will generously provide all you need. Then you will always have everything you need and plenty left over to share with others.” (2 Corinthians 9:7-8)
God is doing awesome things through Rockpoint and it is all possible because of your faithful giving. It’s not about fancy buildings or growing. It’s all about Jesus and his transforming power over broken lives. It’s about families being healed, marriages restored and relationships mended. It’s about making an impact in our communities and across the world. That’s why we do what we do. And that’s what your giving supports.

In 2007, God blessed our church family with our Lake Elmo facility. Since then, our church has nearly tripled in size as has our impact for the cause of Christ in people’s lives, our community, and the world. But we believe that God is just getting started with the plans he has for Rockpoint in this community and the world. As such, we feel that God is leading us to free up the remaining 3,042,000 dollars of our mortgage, in order to provide more resources for ministry purposes. If you feel led to make a contribution to the debt reduction fund, please designate “debt reduction fund.” Questions? Contact Wes Oren.
Our desire is to pay off the mortgage by the end of 2019 so that we can go into 2020 ready to invest in further ministries and growth
To free up resources for greater ministry as well as provide greater capacity to serve the community
- Continue current payment schedule to pay down mortgage from the monthly donations to the Debt Reduction Fund and the General Fund
- Periodic awareness efforts to inform congregation of debt status and ministry needs
- Finance Committee letters
- Capitol Campaigns
- Congregational Meetings
- Proceeds from sale of either our WBL facility or the development land will also be used to pay down mortgage principle per leadership board and congregational approval*
*we are a congregationally led church with all expenditures approved through the leadership board and congregation vote
