OUR HISTORY

Rockpoint Church, formerly known as Lakewood Evangelical Free Church, first started as a church plant from First Evangelical Free Church in 1969. In 1968, ten families started meeting in their homes for prayer in White Bear Lake. As time went on, more families began to join and they moved their meeting location to a local White Bear Lake elementary school until they eventually bought land off Co. Rd. E in White Bear Lake and built the building which we inhabited until God led us to move out to Lake Elmo in July 2007. Which is also about the time we became Rockpoint Church. And thus the story of how Rockpoint came to be.

We are located west of Stillwater on the south side of Hwy 36 in Lake Elmo. We offer three Sunday worship services (8 (unplugged), 9:30 & 11am)* as well as many ministry opportunities for people in all life stages. Check out the rest of our website to find out more about Rockpoint Church. And remember, we are so glad you are here!
