Rockpoint Church believes God designed the family as the primary context for faith formation. The Rockpoint Family Ministry exists to create a culture of intentional families by providing encouragement every step of the way.

 

FIRST THINGS FIRST: PARENT EQUIPPING CLASS

FIRST SUNDAY OF EVERY MONTH | 9:30AM

December 3, January 7, February 4, March 4, April 8, and May 6. Come to our First Things First classes where we will help give you the tools and practical advice on how to be the primary faith influencer in your child’s life. These relevant, interactive classes will be taught during the first Sunday of every month by Student and Children’s Ministry staff.
LOCATION: Parents/Grandparents of birth – 5TH Grades: Room 2 Parents/Grandparents of 6TH – 12TH Grades: Room 3

 

GRACE BASED PARENTING – PART 1

SUNDAYS 11AM

Beginning October 15. Grace Based Parenting is a refreshing study that show moms and dads how to love their kids the way God love his—with grace! This class is not a specific technique or method, but it provides more of a philosophy of parenting. You’ll learn about the 3 inner needs of every child and the 4 freedoms that are characteristics of a grace based home. Class format includes video teaching and small group discussion. Cost is $13 for a workbook. CLASS FACILITATORS: Peter and Beth Rekstad REGISTER HERE

FAMILY SERVE NIGHT AT FEED MY STARVING CHILDREN

SATURDAY, JAN 27 | 4:30 – 6:30pm

Come and join other families as we pack nutritious meals for hungry children around the world. Since children age 5 and up are welcome, it’s a great way to serve together as a family, small group or empty nester. To sign up, please visit www.volunter.fmsc.org and choose “Join an existing group” then type in Rockpoint Church. It’s a fun way to make a big difference in the life of a child.

With more than two dozen topics, these free resources provide a biblical perspective on common family seasons and challenges, along with recommended “going further” resources, and descriptions of ministry programs and church staff to support each situation. The Family Resource Center offers practical ideas and inspirational materials to help bring faith into the home. These resources include recommended books and printed materials related to specific seasons and circumstances of family life.
