AWANA 2017 – 2018
TUESDAYS | 6:30 – 8PM
Resumes September 12
Awana is a high energy ministry for children age 3 (by Sept 1, 2017) – 5th grade. This evening is divided into 3 main parts: games, large group teaching, and handbook time. Awana’s main goal is to reach boys and girls with the gospel of Christ and train them to serve Him. We will celebrate the end of the Awana year with our Year-End Celebration and awards ceremony on Tuesday, April 25th at 6:30PM. Our clubs are divided into 3 age groupings:
- Cubbies: Ages 3 – Pre K
- Sparks: Grades K – 2
- Truth and Training (T&T): Grades 3 – 5
$40/child; $100 family max
Throughout the year, our Awana Club hosts special events such as theme nights, Camp Night and store nights. Information about these events will be sent home with the clubbers during the course of the year.
Each week, our Awana clubbers are encouraged to bring dues. This money is used to help train Awana leaders in Kenya.
If you would be interested in volunteering for our Awana program, please contact Pastor Wendy Dean (Sparks and T&T) or Sharon Stratmoen (Cubbies). All of our volunteers need to fill out a ministry application and complete a background check. NOTE: Additional leaders are still needed in all age groups.
To register your child(ren) for Awana on Tuesday nights, please come in before Club starts.
Checks are payable to: Rockpoint Church (Awana in the subject line)
