Colleen Burrs

Colleen joined the Rockpoint staff in January of 2014 as an Administrative Assistant, and has transitioned to the Communications Department as Rockpoint Church needs have changed over time. Her passion to help our congregation feel informed and connected causes her to look for ways to constantly improve. She enjoys the variety and quality of production pieces Rockpoint delivers. She continues to look for ways to improve in her role as we reach the world with the Good News of salvation through Jesus.

From August, 2013 to December, 2015, Colleen challenged herself as a returning University of Northwestern, St. Paul, student. She worked full-time and was simultaneously a full-time student as she completed her B.S. Communication Studies degree and graduated with honors.

Colleen is mom to four sons. Three are grown, and her youngest is still at home. After raising four boys, it’s been fun for her to now have a granddaughter. She is also blessed to have her mom live with her during the winter months. Her interests are many! She enjoys writing, scrapbooking, gardening, cooking, baking, music and more. In her view, there aren’t enough hours in the day to get it all done.

She feels that God led her directly to her position at Rockpoint to be able to share her variety of talents and to support the senior staff as we impact the world for Christ. In her time at Rockpoint, she has grown in personal areas through the many ministries offered at Rockpoint. She is forever grateful to the pastors as they demonstrate Godly leadership and have strongly influences her growth.
