Scott has lived most of his life in Minnesota, but still feels deeply drawn to his home state of Pennsylvania with its rolling, green mountains and historical foundations. He gave his life to Christ as a young teenager and ever since he has been motivated by helping others discover their true spiritual identity and God’s design for their life. Today, he and his family have their home in Vadnais Heights, and they enjoy traveling to anywhere that is tropical, historical, or both.
Scott graduated from North Dakota State University with a double major in psychology and sociology. In mid-life, he returned to school and earned a master’s degree in organizational leadership and a doctorate in strategic leadership (both from Regent University). With this training and gifting for leadership and teaching, most of Scott’s career has focused on consulting, coaching, teaching, and writing. He has worked with thousands, individually and in organizations, helping them to be more effective at home, work, church, and community.
Scott began attending Lakewood Evangelical Free Church (now Rockpoint) in 1986. For leisure, Scott’s favorite activities include reading, biking, and photography. His favorite place to be is wherever his wife Julie and their twin sons can be found.
