Seth Fagerland

Seth joined the Rockpoint staff in August of 2016. It has been his long-range dream to become a Minnesotan in order to live closer to family and cheer on the Vikings.

Originally a farm kid from South Dakota, he has lived in North Dakota, Illinois, and Texas before coming ‘home’ to Minnesota. During his years at the University of North Dakota he served as Program Director at Cooperstown Bible Camp (EFCA). After receiving his Masters of Divinity from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School, he served as Pastor of Youth Ministries at Lakeland Church (EFCA) in Gurnee, IL for nine years.

Seth and his wife Marcela were married in 2010 and have two kids, Benaiah and Maja. They love good food and going on little family adventures outside! Anywhere near water is a happy place for their family.

Seth’s joy and mission in life is making disciples by following Jesus together! He believes God will always be experienced more together with God’s people than by ourselves. Together we remember who God is, who we are in Him, and what living on mission in God’s Kingdom looks like.
